Prateek Chapalamadugu, MD, is a board-certified gastroenterologist at Triborough GI serving the communities of Brooklyn, the Bronx, and Staten Island, New York. With a gentle and understanding communication style with his patients, he quickly earns their trust and keeps it by giving them successful treatments. At Triborough GI, he treats conditions like hemorrhoids, irritable bowel disease, and celiac disease.
Dr. Chapalamadugu began his education in medicine at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in North Chicago, Illinois. After earning his doctor of medicine degree there, he moved to Mineola, New York, on Long Island for a residency at Winthrop University Hospital. He stayed there to complete fellowship training in his current field, gastroenterology.
Dr. Chapalamadugu understands that each patient seeks treatment with a unique set of concerns and expectations. He is able to adapt to changes quickly when they are necessary for a patient’s treatment or recovery.
When he isn’t at Triborough GI diagnosing patients with biopsies, colonoscopies, and endoscopies, Dr. Chapalamadugu enjoys soccer, photography, and spending time with his family.
